AAPC Statement on China Auto Tariffs
 

Washington, D.C.- Gov. Matt Blunt, president of the American Automotive Policy Council, issued the following statement on China to reduce tariffs on U.S. autos:

“We appreciate the president’s continued focus on trade and efforts to promote fair trade with our international partners.  We are hopeful the U.S. and China's ongoing discussions to address tariffs and lower trade barriers are successful, including a reduction in tariffs on U.S. autos.”

The American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC) is a Washington, D.C. association that represents the common public policy interests of its member companies FCA US LLC, Ford Motor Company and General Motors Company.
