Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has been working to expand Mopar, its parts and service division, over the past seven years.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said today it will invest $10.4 million to build a new Mopar Parts Distribution Center in Romulus as it continues to expand the national presence of its parts and service division.

When it opens next fall, the 500,000-square-foot distribution center will employ more than 100 workers and will become Mopar's 23rd distribution center. FCA also is building a new parts distribution center in Winchester, Va., that is scheduled to open by next spring.
