Buick and GMC have announced a number of 2016 models will feature Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
First up, all 2016 Buick Regal and LaCrosse models will have Apple CarPlay compatibility. Unfortunately for Android owners, Android Auto capability will be added sometime later in the model year.
The situation at GMC is a little better as the 2016 Canyon, Sierra and Yukon will have Apple CarPlay capability. Android Auto capability will also be offered on some Sierra models at the beginning of the 2016 model year but will eventually be extended to all Canyon, Sierra and Yukon models later in the year.
