“American Automakers are a key driver for our nation’s manufacturing supply chain.  We thank the administration for working to address the global shortage in auto-grade semiconductor wafers and encouraging semiconductor manufacturers to fulfill orders from our American Automakers as quickly as possible to get the U.S. auto industry to full production.  It is imperative that all efforts are made to ensure our auto industry remains indispensable to the U.S. economy and American jobs.”

The American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC) represents American Automakers Ford Motor Company, General Motors Company and Stellantis. AAPC is a Washington, D.C. association representing the common public policy interests of its member companies.
