American Automakers Statement on Key Trade Leadership Confirmation
Washington, D.C. – American Automotive Policy Council President Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on William Kimmitt’s confirmation as Undersecretary of Commerce for International Trade:
“American Automakers congratulate William Kimmitt on his Senate confirmation as Undersecretary of Commerce for International Trade as he works to strengthen U.S. trade policy. We look forward to working with him to support efforts that enhance the global competitiveness of American-made vehicles,” said Governor Matt Blunt.
The American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC) represents American Automakers Ford Motor Company, General Motors Company and Stellantis. AAPC is a Washington, D.C. association representing the common public policy interests of its member companies.
