AAPC Statement on Retirement of Senator Debbie Stabenow

Washington, D.C. – American Automotive Policy Council President Matt Blunt issued the following statement today on the announcement by Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) that she will retire at the end of her current term.

“Senator Stabenow has been an incredibly effective legislator who has strongly supported the American auto industry and its workers in the halls of the U.S. Capitol. AAPC looks forward to working with her throughout the end of her term to strengthen the U.S. auto sector and its U.S. auto manufacturing partners.”

The American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC) represents American Automakers Ford Motor Company, General Motors Company and Stellantis. AAPC is a Washington, D.C. association representing the common public policy interests of its member companies.
